I like the caterpillar. But it looks kinda heavy so I will vote for the duck. i think Snow White has been worn by every girl child at some point. All of them are adorable. Kaitlin, being such a beautiful baby will look fab in all costumes.
My little cousin wore a pirate's costume with a large paper-card board sword when he was 2 years old.

The duck looks most comfortable for a 4 month old - just soft, warm and fuzzy, like a real duckling.
When she gets older, you'll have to do a princess, of course!
